December Art of Organics x TWELVE

December Art of Organics x TWELVE Beauty- cover lineup- Felixinsideout

You guys, would you believe me if I told you that this months Art of Organics clean beauty box featuring two full-sized products by Twelve Beauty has already sold out? As in sold out before launch day. Well, it did! I mean, if you follow me on Instagram (which btw, you totally should), I totally called this. A few days ago, I was doing a little sneak peek of one of these items, which I never do, because I had a feeling it would sell out. I had no idea how quickly I would be proven right.

For the twelfth month of the year, Art of Organics wanted to go out with a bang featuring TWELVE Beauty, a high-performance skincare line based in Spain. They also wanted to work with an artist whose work reminds me of a winter forest wonderland. The featured print is by The Tiny Garden design Studio, and I love the whimsical nature of all of the prints. I spotted a few wallpaper prints that I might have to tuck away in my children’s various play spaces — I love a pop of whimsy inside a closet, cupboard, or other unexpected places. Need a little whimsy in your life? Here is a link to the Tiny Garden website.

Now, let’s get into this box.

TWELVE Beauty

I first learned about TWELVE Beauty back in April when I tried out The London Mask and The Ideal Brightening Correcting Serum, and I was smitten. Dr. Catalá, the founder, is passionate about plants and skincare. Utilizing his vast botanical knowledge, you can expect high-quality products which help soothe and support sensitive skin. Twelve Beauty, named after the 12 wonder ingredients that Pedro believes are essential to promoting healthy skin, is an absolutely yummy skincare line. The amount of research that goes into the components you’ll find in this brand is beyond reproach, and the packaging and product line is truly luxe.

Every TWELVE product contains a special blend of four powerful antioxidants + nutrients. White Genepi Extract (protects), Imperoatoria leaf extract (anti-inflammatory), Mallow flower extract (soothes/moisturizes), and Butterfly Bush leaf extract (antioxidant protection). Additionally, as with anything I share, you know it’s a clean brand (toxic 10 need not apply).

Included in this Sold Out December Art of Organics Box is the Rewarding Body Balm + Rapid Eye Treatment, both full size. A $168 value for less than $42/mo, it’s truly a steal!

If you’re sad about missing out on this incredible steal, you might want to consider signing up, so you don’t miss out on what Art of Organics has to offer for January 2019. SIGN UP HERE. [Because this box is sold out, any order placed after Dec 4th, 2018 will start with the Jan 2019 box.]

Rewarding Body Balm

The Rewarding Body Balm ($110) is the first product ever created for the TWELVE Beauty line, and it has all the hallmarks of a signature product. Designed to correct chronic dry and damaged skin, this rich body balm is so soothing. Unlike most balms, it doesn’t sit on the skin as a barrier; this balm absorbs like no other. It sinks into the skin to nourish dry, parched skin cells. This balm includes potent ingredients designed to soothe, heal, and moisturize.

This sensitive and dry skin SOS contains squalane, which is the main component of human sebum and penetrates deeply. You’ll also find jojoba oil, argan oil, shea butter, and cupuaçu butter. These oils and plant butters work to provide moisture, vitamin E, and elasticity to your parched skin. You’ll also find a pretty powerful fatty acid and antioxidant profile. Artemisa, Imperatoria, and Buddleja extracts provide the later, while Spent Grain Wax pack the linoleic acid punch. Your skin is going to drink this in.

I like to apply this immediately after the shower while my skin is still damp. A little emulsification situation happens, but after a few minutes it’s all absorbed, and my skin is in heaven.

Rapid Eye Treatment

This year I have been on an eye oil kick. Yup, there isn’t a traditional eye cream in sight, and I have to admit, I’ve been enjoying the ease of a roller ball. But this Rapid Eye Treatment ($58) came out of nowhere, and I’ve been so totally into it. First of all, the ingredients are stellar.  I’m talking about two different plant proteins (hydrolyzed rice protein + glycine soybean protein) which help with defending against collagen degradation and increasing elasticity; as well as a powerful antioxidant (superoxide dismutase). This treatment is designed to treat under eye bags and puffiness and to help decrease the look of dark circles.

This treatment is more like a milky serum than a traditional eye cream. A nice hybrid, it’s got more body than my current line up of eye oils. One drop is all you need for both eyes. I’ve been pumping a drop onto my finger, pressing the two fingers together, and pat, pat, patting it under my eyes. It can be used day and night, but I’ve been using it more at night because that routine has been more involved of late.

The Sad Truth

December Art of Organics x Twelve Beauty - Felixinsideout

As mentioned, this box sold out before the official launch day. That’s what happens when Twelve Beauty is involved. So, unfortunately, you can’t get the December Art of Organics clean beauty box any longer. But I can promise you that January will be just as good (take it from an insider 😉), so if you SIGN UP HERE, you won’t have to worry about missing out on the January Box.

Have you tried TWELVE Beauty?
